Scott is an incredibly kind young man who has lived an impressively full life. Although Scott has suffered from a serious chronic illness and will have his life cut short before he even turns 50, he feels at peace and grateful for the varied life experiences he has been able to pack into the years he has been given.
Scott has travelled the globe, some through his combat military experience. He has a lifelong love of books, and after his military service became a librarian. While pursuing another of his passions, he founded a martial arts school based on a Western tradition of sword fighting. To say he is an impressive person is undoubtedly an understatement. And his wish? Well, his wish speaks further to his character.
Scott wishes to spend some quality time and thank his sister and brother-in-law, the only remaining family he has, for all they have done for him through his illness. He simply wishes to take them out to dinner at their family’s favourite restaurant. We at the Foundation have truly been touched by meeting this man. Thank you for the excellent example you set, Scott. We are lucky to have known you, if only for a brief moment.
