Beverly knew exactly what she wanted for her Wish. To create a memorable and heartfelt celebration of life over a beautiful meal with her family. This meal was to be her last. So, it needed to be perfect, reflecting her personality, loving family, favourite foods, and her favorite holiday – Halloween. The Living Wish Foundation was tasked to complete this in just 5 days. No problem. We got to work.
The menu must-haves were lobster, traditional Caesars with all the fixings, homemade pumpkin pie with loads of real whipped cream, chocolate cheesecake, and Nanaimo bars. She wanted her family surrounding her, with her grandkids dressed up in their Halloween costumes and the room decorated with loads of colour!
What is truly important when facing your last days becomes crystal clear. Family, food, tradition. What a perfect Wish.
